He dedicated himself to his vines and within a year his property’s sandy soil was yielding cabernet, merlot and chardonnay grapes of such impeccable quality that producers from all over Texas were competing to buy Dotson’s crop.

The care and compassion Martha and Alphonse have toward those promising grapevine clusters are a result of what the two have shared for each other over three decades.

Passionate Pursuit

The wine vapors were immediately carried aloft with still remarkably fresh fruity characteristics of black plums, blackberries and currents. On my palate, the wine was substantial and getting even more fruity by the moment and mixing with nuances of vanilla and baking spice.
